How cute is this hot dog slicer?! Let me tell you- the kids LOVE it! They think it is so fun. I am all about saving money, but spending a small amount to make all three of my basically toddlers to sit down and eat lunch happily without fighting is TOTALLY worth it to me! Life is chaotic enough for me, but making meals more fun for the kids truly seems to help. These are so cute. They also make it pretty darn easy! You can heat the hot dog up on the bottom part, then you put the dog over it, push it down, and POOF- the hot dog is cut! The little "food bowl" in front of the dog is for dipping sauce- most likely Ketchup. My kids don't use any condiments on their hot dogs though, so I usually put some kind of fruit in there- apple slices, raisins, grapes, etc The first time I used this, my 2 year old and 4 year old thought it was so funny- "The doggy is trying to eat my grapes!" I use it at least once a week- and it doesn't ever get old! It comes in green and blue, and for $3.49 each at walmart, it makes lunch a bit more fun! :) Why not?! I wish they had more things like this for kids!
