More Free Friday Fun???? YEP!
I wish I had known about the free Fridays at the Cincinnati Museum before! I am definitely going to go on one of these Fridays. On June 14, July 12, August 9, and September 13 from 4-8 pm, you can visit the museum for free! (Well, you have to pay betwee $4 and $6 for parking.) Of course, the entire museum is cool, but if you haven't been to the children's museum with your little one- you should totally take advantage of this. I know ALL of my kids could spend the entire 4 hours in the children's section. They have an awesome tree-house playground. It is big enough that parents can climb on most of it with their kids if they are younger, and there are cranks and other little activities throughout the playground. Also, there is even little walk-through section and aquarium on the floor for the very small kiddos.
There is also a really cool water area- what kid doesn't love to play in water?! They have smocks to at least partially keep their clothes dry. My kids could have spent all day in that section alone. To top it off, there is a nice sitting section around it if you are comfortable just sitting to supervise your kids.
They have a small playground for ages 3 and under- along with many more activity areas.I have never been on a free night, but when I go, I will add a detail of how crowded it is. The good news is- the free fridays are not just for kids! The children's museum is free, but so are the Natural History & Science section and the History section. I have attached the link for the official website in case you want to check it out! You can find pics of each of the areas.
